 Students will Make (toast, grind, sift, bottle & label spices) & Take home a bottle of freshly ground spices, will learn basics of how to cook with flavors.

We'll share an overview of Sweet & Savory Spices

Student's will learn how to:
-Elevate any meal.
Go beyond salt & pepper by adding one more spice to make a dish different & delicious.
-Toast spices perfectly.
-Grind whole spices from coarse to fine, and learn when to use them.
-A helpful method of sifting & bottling.
-Tips & Tricks in the kitchen along the way.

CLASS
Hot Chocolate
from Cacao Beans
(pronounced ka-kow)

Students will make hot cacao directly from the plant that makes chocolate using Cacao Bean Nibs with its whole plant nutrients, goodness and incredible full flavor. Learn how cacao is grown and harvested.
Students will turn the cacao bean nibs, using a grinder & cast iron melting pot, into a rich, decadent experience of liquid cacao (chocolate) goodness to enjoy.
Then students will grind three different spice blends to experience hot cacao flavor combinations from around the world.  Wow!  It's Hot Cacao.

In addition to the class, students will receive:
-Sweet & savory spices
-Ingredients to make hot cacao
-Petite size glass mug & bamboo wooden stir spoon
